ABOUT ME

A Filipina, working in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; who works in a 9 hr corporate IT job. So, I don't travel for work. I can only travel when I have available holidays.

I am a single mom, I have a wonderful son who doesn't live with me but with my mom in the Philippines. However, a lot of people would ask, How do I do it? Do I even support my child? How can I afford to travel? As you read further, you would find why.

I started traveling back to 2013. I have been to 22 countries and 106 cities. I usually go for solo backpacking or with friends. I have the love of traveling on a budget trip as I want to always challenge myself in a certain situation.

I love adventures from sleeping at the dangerous train station to sleeping at the airport or not sleeping at all. I have a weird taste of traveling that I am more wanting to see the danger than the fun part of traveling. Not a lot of women or even men would brave enough to do backpacking because I knew almost all of my friends are; when they travel they want to sleep in a comfortable bed or even stay in a place they can relax. My kind of travel should be tiring and a Lil of dangerous fun. If I was relaxing I would think I'm just at home being unproductive.

I can afford to travel because I SAVE a lot, I sacrifice expensive makeups or bags or clothes just to save for the fare. You may read my blog how do I travel cheap on this LINK to know about my travel hacks.

Nevertheless, I take my family responsibilities seriously. I make sure I talk to my son every day to make him feel loved every day. People will always think I don't mind my kid because all I do is a travel and I don't even bring him along. When backpacking as a single mom bringing kid is not as easy as it gets. You can't let your kid sleep in a certain place that is not comfortable. He is 9 yo.  I would like to travel with him when he's grown up when is independent enough to handle backpacking.

Traveling taught me a long of things; to be more independent, wiser, and stronger. I love the idea of learning about different cultures, people, languages, countries, and stereotypes.

Though I'm not a writer writing about travel is like a commitment to myself that holds me accountable. Its the soul of my adventures. I want to share travel tips, ideas, photos, blogs, hacks to help you to travel more and cheaper.

I want this blog to inspire you and motivate you. My goal is to show you, you can travel cheap, with fashion, travel solo without being judged, travel light, travel without itineraries, and travel freely.
